Yesterday my friend Alison and I randomly decided to go to Chattanooga. We meandered around the riverfront and pedestrian bridge, stopped in my favorite north shore shop, wandered through the Choo Choo Hotel (that place smells awful) and ate and drank at Terminal Brewhouse (the best). Then on a whim, we drove up Lookout Mountain, fully intending not to pay for any of the gimmicks, but when we saw the Incline Railway tracks set at their 73 degree angle we just had to. At the top we discovered a battlefield and some really amazing views. $14 well spent, I say.
